Who actually does the work?
Me — Jason Ratzlaff. Parkk Technology isn’t an agency that sells you a pitch and hands the build to juniors. One person is accountable from concept to shipped, and that person answers your email.
What kind of projects do you take?
The hard ones. The stalled prototype, the store that’s too slow, the model that won’t train, the board that needs firmware, the problem three teams already gave up on. AI, hardware, fintech, Magento, and custom web are home turf.
Do you work solo or with a team?
I work as a principal engineer — hands on the keyboard. When a project needs additional specialists, I assemble and lead them; I’ve run engineering orgs of 20+ across 15+ cultures. Either way, one person owns the outcome.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
Cave Creek, Arizona. I work with clients anywhere — most of my career has been leading distributed teams.
What’s your background?
Thirty years writing software, fifteen leading teams. Today I’m a Principal Engineer III at Western Alliance Bank. Along the way: 3 U.S. patents, $65M+ in Magento client revenue, five fintech products launched into regulated markets, and a fielded counter-UAS system I took from concept to firmware.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. I build defense hardware and banking systems — confidentiality is second nature.
How do we start?
One conversation, free, and a real one. Tell me what you’re trying to build or what’s stuck, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right person for it.
If it can be built, I want to build it — end to end, one person accountable.
